The research entitled “Ecological and Social Status of Artemisia vulgaris (A Case Study from Ambika CF of Kaski District, Nepal)” aimed to assess the ecological status of Artemisia vulgaris together with its social condition.A. vulgaris is one of the important aromatic & medicinal herbs. A.vulgaris is mainly used to cure skin diseases & ulcers. It is also applied as an insecticide & pesticide. The oil from its leaves shows antibacterial & antifungal property. It is often used in green manuring & composting. The major threats against its conservation are frequent fire in dry period, pre-mature & over.
